From 2016: Matt's Wax Museum as Ethan Allen (Fourth Grade)

The fourth grade at our school puts on a "wax museum." In the state of New York, social studies lessons in fourth grade focus on our state history. Matthew had to choose a person from a list to research. He chose Ethan Allen, who captured Fort Ticonderoga.

He worked really hard on his backboard and typed everything out to make a very nice display.

I managed to find a "revolutionary soldier" costume on amazon.com for a price within our budget. The costume requirement can be quite costly (especially since I cannot sew)!

The kids have to remain absolutely silent and still (as wax museum figures) while parents tour the exhibits. The provide chairs in case the kids get tired and need to sit.

Matt had a very successful wax museum. We were grateful for the end-of-school-year projects to be done!
