The third grade at our school puts on an "International Festival" each year. The kids research an assigned country and have projects and food from that country. Nolan baked pao de queijo (cheese bread) for his project. He also wrote a report on the economy of Brazil. His group created a display board for the country. They did a really nice job!
Nolan's pao de queijo went over quite well - we had a couple of full pieces out for display along with a recipe for the bread.
We had sample-sized bites for people to try.
Nolan wore a Pele t-shirt and soccer shorts for the festival. He had a fantastic time!
