Softball Nights

Hit a Home Run, Daddy!

We definitely have seasons in this area of the country, and right now it is softball season. Dennis plays for a recreational church league, and the boys love watching the games. They love scaling the bleachers and giving their mother a heart attack even more.

We usually head over to the playground for the middle part of the game, because their attention spans are not long enough for a seven inning game. The playground is also a little safer than climbing to the top of rickety, splintery bleachers. The playground is also full of unruly teenagers on ballgame nights, so we usually don't stay for very long. We headed back to the ball field after a half hour of climbing and sliding.

Climbing Mountains

No, Nolan- we can't have one of these for a pet!

Driving a "school bus"

We returned to the ball field just in time to watch Daddy hit a single. The game was over shortly thereafter. The boys love it when Daddy's team has the winning score!
