Finger paints, for the bath tub. Because I am either insane or a Very Fun Mom.
The kids loved these, and spent quite some time painting the tub walls and each other. Since these were home-made paints, they weren't very hard to clean up when all the fun was done.
It was nearly impossible to get them out of the tub with so much fun going on. If you would like to try this yourselves, the official recipe is:
1/3 cup liquid dishwashing soap
4 tablespoons cornstarch
food coloring (a few drops of each color).
I just dumped some soap in a bowl and added cornstarch until it seemed thick enough, then divided it into the ice cube tray for easier separation of the colors. I mixed in the food coloring with a toothpick. The kids absolutely loved it. Beware, your tub will look like this by the time they are through:
You can't say I didn't warn you!

How long did it take until they started painting each other?!
Looks like lots of fun :0)

Not very long. Nolan also tried to eat it, but he only tried it once (dish soap doesn't taste very good, lol)!
That is really innovative . Will make it too as Prisha loves all kinds of colours.
Sorry Leah, the spelling of the flower was incorrect. Its called 'gerbera'.They are lovely flowers and last a long time in the vase, sometimes upto 2 weeks. The link to it is....

Hope your son recovers from this bad phase fast.Good luck.
Rouchi, they really do love to fingerpaint in the tub! I love it because there is no mess to clean up afterwards (other than wiping the tub, haha).
