Miniature Golf: California Vacation, Day 7

Monday was a quieter day on our California vacation. Dennis's parents had returned from a vacation in Kauai, and we went to lunch with them at Topper's Pizza. Grandmas are much nicer than Mommies, and give their grandsons quarters to spend in the arcade - Matt and Nolan were thrilled.

After pizza, we headed over to Golf N Stuff in Ventura. Matt absolutely loves miniature golf, and everyone had a good time putting the balls around the fun course.

We didn't exactly keep an accurate score. Nolan has a tendency to play golf in the same way one would play hockey, so we focused more on having fun and keeping his swing from getting out of control.

After playing golf, we stopped by Great Grandpa's house to visit and to see his cat Wapner (named for the famous Judge Wapner). Wapner is an extremely large, friendly cat - the boys had a good time following him around the house.

It was a nice, calm day and we headed back to my parent's house in the evening. It was hard to believe our California vacation was more than half over!
